The project, entitled “Green Transition and Sustainability” under the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet framework will develop a module that deals with
interdisciplinary topics such as sustainable energy systems, advanced manufacturing technologies and robotics, among others, in line with the
European Green Deal and the EU’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. Key objectives of the project are:
- Detailed knowledge in the policy of the EU on sustainability and green transition would be provided for students and practitioners alike.
- Under one umbrella, environmental science, energy systems, advanced manufacturing and robotics have been merged for twin transitions-green and digital.
- Interaction amongst academia, industry and policy makers will be established for sharing of knowledge.
- Providing an opportunity for flexible learning through courses offered during the fall, spring and summer semesters.
The project will contribute to the sustainability goals of the EU by connecting policy, education and industry together for long-term effects and will foster international cooperation in Türkiye.
