Dr. Özgür Yurtsever

Dr. Özgür Yurtsever is an Assistant Professor in the Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Department at the School of Civil Aviation, Nişantaşı University. He holds a B.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering from Sakarya University, an M.Sc. in Metallurgical and Materials

Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, and a Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering from Marmara University. Following a distinguished career in various roles within the healthcare sector, including service at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Yurtsever transitioned into academia. His primary research interests focus on powder metallurgy, mechanical alloying, shape memory alloys, actuators, and gripping systems. He conducts interdisciplinary research that bridges the fields of materials engineering and mechatronics engineering to develop innovative solutions.
